The rector of the college is Lieutenant General (Retd) Muhammad Asghar (pictured). MCS has about seventy faculty members who are responsible for teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses. Dr. Adnan Ahmed Khan heads the Department of Computer Software Engineering.
Department of Computer Software Engineering, MCS, NUST
The Department of Computer Software Engineering at MCS is one of the first Computing Departments in Pakistan which started Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Software Engineering. Its Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and so far 20 batches have graduated from this prestigious department. We are also the first Computing Department in Pakistan which started postgraduate programmes in Software Engineering.
